MaxAlloy™ aluminum indoor coils are specially designed to be installed with UPG furnaces or modular air handlers as part of a matched air conditioning or heat pump system.  The CM series full cased coils have the flexibility of multiposition installation.  They are shipped as upflow / horizontal left and are easily convertible to downflow / horizontal right.  If CM coils are installed without the casing, a Diverter Shroud kit is required.
UPG indoor coils can be applied with indoor orifices and/or TXVs according to the application.  Most indoor coil models are available as "flex" coils for installation of the specific expansion device in the field.  Select SKUs are available with factory-mounted TXVs or EEVs.  Refer to the Technical Guide for the matched outdoor unit to determine the required indoor expansion device for your specific application.

  • RC2 - Rigid Case Construction features an interior endoskeleton for structural support, flush sides, and to lock in insulation.
  • Durable Finish – Casings are made of pre-painted G30 galvanized steel that resists corrosion and rust creep.
  • MaxAlloyTM Coil - Long life aluminum coils built to deliver lasting performance, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Quality Construction - Structural components are made of Aluminum or G90 galvanized steel to prevent corrosion.
  • Improved Insulation Design - Single piece with no external screws to reduce thermal transmission paths and prevent sweating. Foil faced insulation for easy cleaning.
  • Thermostatic Expansion Valve - Bolt-on TXVs do not require brazing and provide easy installation for the specific application.  Select models are available with factory installed TXV.
  • Reduced Casing Depth - These models have a 20.5” casing depth which provide ease of attic access and tight applications.
  • Thermoset Drain Pan - Positive slope for drainage to reduce cause for potential mold or contaminants.
